Accessibility

Based on its commitment to encourage the integration of people with disabilities including those with physical and cognitive disabilities and regardless of the technological devices used to access information, the Information and Scientific News Service site has worked in line with Accessibility Directives defined by the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) permanent work group of the World Wide Web (W3C) Consortium at AA level. 

 

The site of the Information and Scientific News Service has been developed using XHTML (eXtensible Hypertext Markup Language) and style sheets complying where possible with the XHTML 1.0 validations and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) of the W3C.

For reasons of content or technological requirements, some PDF documents experience certain accessibility problems. These documents can be viewed using the free Adobe Reader application. When the user requests a document that is not accessible, the appropriate changes shall be made to ensure that it is available.
