  • Palaeolithic Archaeology Research Fellow for applying to the Marie S. Curie Actions call

The CENIEH is seeking a Research Fellow in Palaeolithic Archaeology for applying to the current Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions-Individual Fellowships call (MSCA-IF), which closes 11 September 2014.

Job Description
If the proposal results are successful the Fellow will join a group of researchers in the Prehistoric Technology Program. The research program focuses on the study of the origin and evolution of Plio-Pleistocene lithic technology with materials excavated from Palaeolitic sites across the Old World. The Fellow is expected to develop a research line designed for understanding hominin behavior and cognition through experimental knapping and stone raw material studies, which complements our current investigations in lithic technology.

Requirements
Proficiency/fluency in the English language (including writing) and experience in fieldwork in Palaeolithic Archaeology are mandatory. 3-Dimensional analysis of stone tools using geometric morphometric approach is desired.
